Ačkoliv je rozdílná efektivita denních a nočních odlovů zátahovou sítí známá, víme málo o účinnosti pro jednotlivé věkové skupiny ryb, což je důležitý poznatek pro odlovy, které se zaměřují na určitou skupinu ryb (např. biomanipulace).
