Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou a komparací finančních indexů sentimentu a posuzováním jejich významu pro investiční veřejnost finančního trhu. Vybrané indexy sentimentu jsou vzájemně porovnávány a následně zhodnoceny na základě výstupů statistické metody, kterou je analýza závislosti náhodných veličin. Analýza je prováděna u třech indexů sentimentu ve třech časových pásmech. V rámci analýzy závislosti jsou zjišťovány korelační vztahy finančních indexů sentimentu s vybranými burzovně tržními indexy. Práce se za pomoci korelačních vztahů vyjádřenými korelačními koeficienty snaží odhalit, zdali jsou finanční indexy sentimentu vhodnými nástroji pro rozhodování a predikci.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of financial sentiment indices and the assessment of their significance for the financial market investment public. The selected sentiment indices are compared with each other and subsequently evaluated based on the results of the statistical method, which is the analysis of the dependence of random variables. The analysis is carried out for three sentiment indices in three time zones. As part of the dependency analysis, correlations between financial sentiment indices and selected stock market indices are determined. With the help of correlation relations expressed by correlation coefficients, the thesis tries to deduce whether financial sentiment indices are a suitable tool for decision-making and prediction.
