Didactic use of robotic toys in teaching at lower level of elementary school

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Didaktické využití robotických hraček na 1. stupni ZŠ“ se zaměřuje nejen na možnosti využívání těchto hraček ve výuce informa-tiky na 1. stupni, ale též na jejich využití i v jiných předmětech určených pro 1. stupeň základního vzdělávání. Práce je rozdělena na tři části. Část teoretická seznamuje se základ-ními termíny a definicemi, popisuje jednotlivé typy didaktických robotic-kých hraček na našem trhu, jejich vhodnost pro využití na 1. stupni ZŠ z hlediska RVP ZV. Část výzkumná díky dotazníkovému šetření zjišťuje, jak dalece uči-telé na ZŠ znají pojem robotická hračka, zda s nimi ve svých hodinách pra-cují, v jakých předmětech je využívají, dále také jaké spatřují klady a zápo-ry v požívání robotických hraček a v neposlední řadě také, jaký učitelé vidí potenciál v jejich používání a kde hledají inspiraci pro práci s robotickými hračkami. Třetí část diplomové práce obsahuje několik námětů na práci s ro-botickými programovatelnými hračkami, které je možné prakticky využít v různých předmětech na 1. stupni ZŠ tak, aby byly naplněny některé výstu-py jak ve vzdělávací oblasti Informatika, tak také výstupy z předmětu, ve kterém budou využívány.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis "Didactic use of robotic toys at the 1st grade of primary school" focuses not only on the possibilities of using these toys in the tea-ching of information science at the 1st grade, but also on their use in other subjects intended for the 1st grade of primary education. The work is divided into three parts. The theoretical part introduces the basic terms and definitions, describes the different types of didactic robotic toys on our market, their suitability for use in the first grade of primary school in terms of the RVP ZV. The research part, thanks to a questionnaire survey, finds out to what ex-tent primary school teachers are familiar with the concept of robotic toys, whether they work with them in their classes, in which subjects they use them, as well as what they see as the pros and cons of using robotic toys and, last but not least, what teachers see as the potential in their use and where they look for inspiration to work with robotic toys. The third part of the thesis contains some suggestions for working with robotic programmable toys that can be practically used in different sub-jects at primary school level 1 in order to fulfil some outcomes in the edu-cational area of Computer Science as well as the outcomes of the subject in which they will be used.
