Regional Legends in Literary Education of 3rd - 5th Grade Elementary School Students

Abstract:

Diplomová práce nazvaná "Regionální pověsti v literární výchově žáků 3. - 5. tříd ZŠ" pojednává o využití projektové výuky zaměřené na regionální pověsti Úpicka. Cílem diplomové práce je vytvoření, realizace a ověření projektu zaměřeného na regionální pověsti. Do projektu jsou včleněny moderní didaktické metody (čtenářské dovednosti, výtvarné, hudební a dramatické činnosti), kterými lze dosáhnout vytvoření pozitivního vztahu k rodnému městu. Výstupem projektu je sborník prací žáků 3. ? 5. ročníku ZŠ. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část obsahuje 6 celků, ve kterých jsou představeny: projekt jako moderní výuková metoda, teoretická východiska, pověst v ústní lidové slovesnosti, pověst jako epický útvar, pověst ?Úpičtí rytíři? u původních autorů a pověsti jako součást historie našeho národa. Praktickou část tvoří dva celky. V prvním celku je popsáno zpracování projektu ?Úpičtí rytíři? pro 3. ? 5. ročník ZŠ (stanovení cílů a výzkumných otázek, plánování, návrh, realizace). Druhý celek tvoří metodologie šetření (popis výzkumných metod a průběhu šetření, charakteristika souboru šetření a jeho výsledky). Jeho součástí jsou otázky strukturovaného rozhovoru a reflexe se subjektivním hodnocením vyučujících jednotlivých ročníků. Součástí diplomové práce je Sborník pověstí Úpicka, který sestavili sami žáci. Dokládá jejich práce a aktivity v jednotlivých ročnících vytvořené během projektu.

Abstract:

The thesis titled "Regional Legends in Literary Education of 3rd - 5th Grade Elementary School Students" deals with the use of project-based learning focused on the regional legends of Úpice. The aim of the thesis is to create, implement, and verify a project focused on regional legends. The project incorporates modern didactic methods (reading skills, artistic, musical, and dramatic activities) to foster a positive relationship with the hometown of students. The output of the project is a collection of works of students in the 3rd - 5th grades. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part consists of 6 sections, presenting: the project as a modern educational method, theoretical foundations, legend in oral folklore, legend as an epic form, the legend "The Knights of Úpice" by original authors, and legends as part of our national history. The practical part consists of three sections. The first section describes the development of the "The Knights of Úpice" project across the 3rd - 5th grades (setting goals and research questions, planning, proposal, implementation). The second section consists of the research methodology (description of research methods and process, characteristics of the research sample and its results). Part of it are structured interview questions. The third section involves reflection on the implementation of the project, including subjective evaluations by teachers of each grade. The thesis includes the Collection of Legends of Úpice, compiled by the students themselves. It documents their work created during the project.
