The topic of my diploma thesis is Initial Public offering as a source of finance for company. In first part of thesis, I focus on theoretical foundations for IPO, process of IPO, and other possible sources of finance for company. The topic of my diploma thesis is Initial Public offering as a source of finance for company. In first part of thesis I focus on theoretical foundations for IPO process of IPO and other possible sources of finance for company. In second practical part of thesis I focus on primary and secondary emisions of shares of Vienna Insurance Group and results of these steps on financial health of not only VIG but one of daughter insurance companies Kooperativa a.s. The method used in practical part of essay is financial analysis based on numerous financial ratios. I have also used ratios specific for insurance market.
