Abstract:

Cílem práce je charakterizovat činnosti související s účetní závěrkou a porovnat výsledky hospodaření vybraného podniku v letech 2016-2019. Data pro analýzu pocházejí z interních materiálů společnosti Voda a topení s.r.o. a ze Sbírky listin obchodního rejstříku. Konkrétně jsou využity výkazy účetní závěrky - rozvaha, výkaz zisku a ztráty a příloha k účetní závěrce. Použita je metoda analýzy dat a finanční analýza se zaměřením na poměrové ukazatele rentability, likvidity, aktivity a zadluženosti. Pomocí analýzy dat je zjištěno, že společnost ve sledovaném období dosahovala vždy zisku, nicméně v jednom roce došlo k markantnímu poklesu zisku. V dalším roce opět začal zisk růst. Sice společnost vždy dosahovala ve sledovaném období zisku, nicméně je zjištěno, že rozdíl mezi výnosy a náklady není nějak vysoký, naopak obě hodnoty jsou si dosti podobné. Rozbor rozvahy ukazuje, že největší část aktiv společnosti tvoří zásoby, jedná se zde o zboží, neboť společnost se zabývá prodejem zboží. Pokud se týká pasiv, tak vlastní zdroje tvoří majoritní součást. Vzhledem k těmto zjištěním lze dospět k názoru, že jediným možným řešením této situace by mohlo být zvýšení obchodní marže.

Abstract:

The aim of the paper is to provide a characteristic of the activities related to financial statements and to compare the financial results of a selected company in the time period 2016-2019. The analysed data come from internal materials of the company Voda a topení, s.r.o. and from the Collection of Documents in the Commercial Register. For the analysis, the following financial statements are used specifically: balance sheet, profit and loss statement and financial statements appendices. In the paper, the methods of data analysis and financial analysis are used focusing especially on the ratios of profitability, liquidity, activity and indebtedness. Using the data analysis, it can be concluded that the observed company made a profit at all times in the period under review. Nevertheless, in one particular year, there was a significant decline in the profit. The following year, the profits began to grow again. Although the company has always made a profit in the period under review, it is found that the difference between revenues and costs is not high – on the contrary, both values are quite similar. The analysis of the balance sheet shows that the largest part of the company's assets are inventories consisting of goods as the company specializes in selling goods. As far as liabilities are concerned, own funds form the majority part. In the light of these findings, it can be concluded that the only possible solution for this situation would be to increase the company’s trade margin.
