Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá vztahem mezi velikostí střední vrstvy a volební podporou liberálních středových stran. Hlavním cílem práce je dokázat přímý vztah mezi těmito proměnnými. K zodpovězení výzkumné otázky jsem provedl výzkum na vzorku zemí Česká republika, Maďarsko, Polská republika a Spolková republika Německo. Zvláštní pozornost jsem věnoval České republice. Práce se dělí na část teoretickou a empirickou. V první části jsem představil teoretická východiska a vymezil jednotlivé pojmy, se kterými pracuji. Ve druhé části jsem provedl kvantitativní výzkum, na jehož základě jsem zodpověděl výzkumnou otázku. Zároveň jsem došel k dílčím zjištěním týkajících se vztahu středních vrstev a liberálních středových stran v jednotlivých zemích. Jedná se vztah těchto dvou proměnných k volebnímu cyklu, volební účasti a středním vrstvám bez podmínky vzdělání.

Abstract:

The final thesis deals with relations between the size of social middle stratum and electoral support of liberal centrist parties. The main goal of the thesis is to prove direct relation between these two variables. In order to answer the hypothesis I made a sample research for the Czech Republic, Hungary, the Polish Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany. The thesis is divided into the theoretical and empirical part. In the first part I introduced theoretical basis and defined particular terms used in the thesis. In the second part I made a quantitative research. Based on its results, I answered the hypothesis. At the same time I came to the partial findings concerning relations between social middle stratum and liberal centrist parties in particular countries. The findings are related to mutual relations between these variables and electoral term, polls and middle stratum without education requirement.
