Effect of Stable Microclimate and Lighting Intensity on Milk Production and Reproduction of Holstein Dairy Cows in a Selected Farm

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na stájové mikroklima a intenzitu osvětlení a jejich vliv na mléčnou užitkovost a parametry reprodukce skotu. Literární přehled byl zaměřen na parametry mikroklimatu stáje, mléčnou užitkovost a reprodukci skotu a faktory, které je ovlivňují. V praktické části byla vyhodnocena korelace mezi teplotou, intenzitou osvětlení a parametry mléčné užitkovosti (množství a složení mléka) a reprodukce (délka servis periody, procento zabřezávání). Data uvedená v praktické části bakalářské práce pochází z konkrétního podniku ve Zlínském kraji. Teplota a intenzita osvětlení byly měřeny čidlem Minikin RTi/QTi, které bylo umístěno ve vybrané stáji. Data byla průběžně stahována a zpracována matematicko-statistickými metodami, kterými byla vyhodnocena korelace mezi naměřenými daty a parametry mléčné užitkovosti a reprodukce.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on stable microclimate and lighting intensity and their effect on milk yield and reproduction parameters of cattle. The literature review was focused on the parameters of the stable microclimate, milk yield and reproduction of cattle and the factors that influence them. In the practical part was evaluated the correlation between temperature, lighting intensity and parameters of milk yield (milk quantity and composition) and reproduction (length of service period, percentage of pregnancy). The data presented in the practical part of the bachelor thesis come from a specific farm in the Zlín region. Temperature and light intensity were measured by Minikin RTi/QTi sensor, which was placed in the selected stable. The data were continuously downloaded and analysed by mathematical and statistical methods to evaluate the correlation between the measured data and the parameters of milk yield and reproduction.
