Implementation of ESG elements in Plzeňský Prazdroj Plc

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá docela novým a stále více aktuálním tématem problematiky ESG prvků. Implementace ESG prvků je v této práci sledovaná na podniku Plzeňský Prazdroj a.s. s cílem zhodnotit vývoj implementace a jeho strategii. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí, teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části jsou definovány jednotlivé části ESG konceptu, vývoj vzniku ESG, Agenda 2030 a její cíle SDG a měření ESG prvků. V praktické části je zhodnocen přístup firmy k udržitelnému rozvoji, který je rozdělen na jednotlivé přístupy k segmentům ESG. Vývoj je sledován v pětiletém období 2017-2021. Významný prvek v praktické části představuje rozhovor s manažerkou udržitelnosti Plzeňského Prazdroje a.s. Zbytek informací byl získán z nastudování udržitelných zpráv podniku a webových stránek. Výsledkem je zhodnocení celkové strategie a úspěšnosti implementace.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the quite new and increasingly topical issue of ESG elements. The implementation of ESG elements is observed in this thesis on the company Plzeňský Prazdroj Plc in order to evaluate the development of implementation and its strategy. The thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines the different parts of the ESG concept, the development of the emergence of ESG, the 2030 Agenda and its SDGs and the measurement of ESG elements. In the practical part, the company's approach to sustainable development is evaluated, which is divided into different approaches to ESG segments. The development is monitored over the five-year period 2017-2021. An important element in the practical part is an interview with the sustainability manager of Plzeňský Prazdroj Plc. The rest of the information was obtained from studying the company's sustainability reports and website. The result is an assessment of the overall strategy and the success of the implementation.
