Transfer of the results of engineering research to SMEs

Abstract:

Závěrečná práce se zabývá problematikou přenosu výsledků výzkumu do praxe, a to jak v podobě hmotné v rámci konkrétních příkladů spolupráce akademické a průmyslové sféry, tak i v podobě nehmotné prostřednictvím veletrhů a výstav. Pozornosti neuniklo ani aktuální téma digitalizace a automatizace průmyslu označované jako Průmysl 4.0, kterým je práce provázána a doplněna. Vzhledem k neustálému tlaku na podniky z hlediska globalizace a konkurence řeší přenos výsledků výzkumu do praxe čím dál více podniků, o automatizaci a digitalizaci nemluvě. Tento trend se však neodráží ve frekvenci této problematiky v odborné literatuře. Cílem závěrečné práce je teoreticko-praktický diskurz kladů a záporů (možností a reálných zdrojů) transferu výsledků strojírenského výzkumu do MSP, vyhodnocení přenosu znalostí v praxi MSP. V práci jsou využity metody kvalitativního výzkumu, analýza, polostrukturovaný rozhovor a řešerše odborné a účelové literatury.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with transferring research results into practice, in both tangible form through specific examples of cooperation between the academic and industrial spheres, and intangible form through trade fairs and exhibitions. Attention has been paid to the digitization and automation of industry, known as Industry 4.0, which is linked to the thesis and enhances it. Given the constant pressure on businesses from globalization and competition, more and more of them are addressing the issue of transferring research results into practice, not to mention automation and digitization. This trend, however, is not reflected in the frequency with which this issue appears in scientific literature. The aim of this thesis is to provide theoretical and practical discourse on the pros and cons (possibilities and actual resources) of transferring the results of engineering research to SMEs and evaluating the transfer of knowledge in SME practice. This work uses the methods of qualitative research, analysis, a semi-structured interview and conducting research in specialized and meaningful literature.
