Bakalářská práce zpracovává formou literární rešerše informace o veverce obecné (Sciurus vulgaris), přičemž se snaží uvést na pravou míru nejčastější domněnky o veverkách. Práce je zaměřena především na chování veverky v době rozmnožování, péči o mláďata a na její celkovou denní aktivitu. Abstract:
This review included information about ethology and ecology of red squirrel (Sciurus vulgaris). The aim of the work is to correct common assumptions about squirrels. The chapter ethology is focused on behaviour of the red squirrel at mating season, care for the young and daily activity of the species.
