Design of car unit for the monitoring system applicable for amateur rally

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá návrhem zařízení, které by vyhovovalo požadavkům závodů amatérské rallye. Nároky jsou kladeny především na bezpečný průběh závodů, manuální či automatickou identifikaci nehody a včasné varování účastníků na trati, před havarovaným vozem. Nadstavbou navrhovaného systému je měření časů závodníků. Systém má stavebnicovou strukturu a skládá se ze dvou druhů velice podobných zařízení, kterými jsou traťový modul a mobilní modul. Základem zařízení je programovatelná základní deska DUE od společnosti Arduino. Obslužný software komunikuje po sériové lince.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the design of a device that would cover the requirements for the security of amateur rally racing. Requirements are primarily based on the safe process of the race, manual or automatic identification of accident and early warning of other participants approaching the crashed car. An extra component of the system is a measurement of racers' results. The system is modular and consists of two very similar devices which are track module and mobile module. The core of this equipment is a programmable board DUE from the Arduino community. The communication is based on serial line.
