Difficulties with breastfeeding by mothers

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se věnuje problémům s kojením ze strany matky. Je zpracována jako teoreticko-výzkumná. Teoretická část je věnována laktaci, složení mateřského mléka a popisuje problémy s kojením. Dále shrnuje historii a aktuální stav kojení v České republice a ve světě. Ve výzkumné části zjišťuji, z jakého důvodu matky kojily méně než 6 měsíců, jaká byla jejich prenatální péče o prsy a informovanost o kojení před porodem. Zajímala mne spokojenost s edukací během jejich pobytu na porodnici a zdroj rad a informací po odchodu z nemocnice. Výzkum byl prováděn u respondentek, které rodily v porodnici s akreditací BFH a zároveň jejich dítě bylo fyziologický novorozenec.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis examines problems with breastfeeding by mothers. Is treated as a theoretical- research. The theoretical part is devoted to lactation, a composition of breast milk and it describes the problems with breastfeeding. It also summarizes the history and the current status of breastfeeding in the Czech Republic and in the world. In the research part I find out the reason, why mothers were breastfeeding for less than six months, what was their prenatal care of breasts and their awareness of breastfeeding before birth. I was interested with their satisfaction with education during their staying in a hospital and a source of advice and information after leaving the hospital. The research was conducted with respondents, who gave birth in a hospital accredited by BFH and also their baby was a physiological new-born.
