Faust at the marionette theater

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma Faust v loutkovém divadle je rozdělena na dvě části. První část se zabývá faustovským příběhem jako takovým. Převypráví jeho klasickou podobu Goethova zpracování, z něhož také druhá část práce vychází. Nastíní, co do současnosti o tématu víme, definuje základní pojmy, které můžeme v příběhu objevovat. Věnuje se i dalším variantám zpracování, které vznikly před Goethovým, ale i těm pozdějším až do současnosti. Hledá původ námětu za pomoci průřezu literaturou, která se jej týká i v alternacích jiných autorů u nás a ve světě. Kromě Goetha zmiňuje Christophera Marlowa, Jana Švankmajera, Václava Havla či Jana Patočku. V první části práce je také provedena analýza příběhu ve smyslu hledání různých aspektů archetypů postav, po vzoru Vladimira Proppa. Zároveň by měla obsáhnout možnosti výkladu z psychoanalytického hlediska, to jakou mají aktéři úlohu v příběhu a co mohou symbolizovat. Cílem práce je aplikovat zjištěná fakta na téma loutkového divadla v propojení s faustovským námětem, čímž se zabývá její druhá část. Na konkrétních obrázcích od různých autorů interpretuje v souvislosti s jejich anamnézou. Užívá poznatků nabytých v první části práce a postupů rozboru výtvarného artefaktu používaných v ateliéru arteterapie. Bakalářská práce sleduje problematiku vědomých i nevědomých konfliktů osobnosti člověka, které by měl i příběh Fausta rozkrývat. Jednotlivé obrazy byly interpretovány za účasti jejich autorů, s každým individuálně, jednalo se o vzorek deseti prací, autoři byli voleni za pomoci metody nabalování se sněhové koule, každý přiložil KTC. V obrázcích se podařilo odhalit skryté latentní obsahy, které jsou výsledkem vědomých i nevědomých konfliktů osobností autorů. Stěžejní jsou postavy příběhu, které mohou představovat jednotlivé složky strukturální roviny psychického aparátu. Zároveň téma poukazuje na to, kdo koho a za pomoci čeho ovládá v podobě hmotných i nehmotných statků. Námět se ptá po svědomí autora, po tom co, nebo kdo jej pokouší, po jeho potenciálu k manipulaci, často v rovině partnerských vztahů.

Abstract:

This thesis which focuses on the topic of Faust in the puppet theater is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the story of Faust as it is. It narrates its classical form of Goethe?s adaptation which also becomes a base for the second part of the thesis. It shows an outline of what we know about the topic up to the present times, it defines basic concepts which can be found in the story. It also focuses on other forms of adaptations, not only on those before the Goethe?s one but even on the later ones up to the present times. It searches for the origin of the theme by means of an overview of the literature which is connected to it also in alternations from other domestic and foreign authors. Except Goethe, Christopher Marlow, Jan Švankmajer, Václav Havel or Jan Patočka are mentioned, too. An analysis of the story also can be found in the first part of the thesis thanks to which various aspects of archetypes should be discovered, according to Vladimir Propp. At the same time it should deal with the possibilities of the interpretation from the psychoanalytical point of view, the fact of what role the actors have in the story and what they can symbolize. The objective of the thesis is to apply the ascertained facts on the topic of the puppet theater in connection to the theme of Faust which is the subject of the second part. It interprets by means of particular figures from various authors in connection to their anamnesis. It uses the data obtained in the first part of the thesis and the methods of the analysis of the fine artifact used in the atelier of the art therapy. The thesis observes the problems of conscious and unconscious conflicts of the human personality which also should be uncovered by the story of Faust. The particular figures were interpreted during the participation of their authors, individually. There were samples of ten works and the authors were chosen by the method of wrapping up a snowball, every one provided KTC. Hidden latent contents which are the result of conscious and unconscious conflicts of the personalities of the authors were found in the figures. The characters of the story that can represent the particular elements of the structural plane of the psychical apparatus are fundamental. At the same time the topic points out the fact of who controls whom by what means in the form of material and also immaterial estates. The theme asks for the conscience of the author, for that what or who tempts it, for its potential for manipulation, often in the plane of the partner relationships.
