Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku etiky v podnikatelské činnosti. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny základní pojmy spojené s etikou a jsou zde rovněž uvedeny historické souvislosti, týkající se vývoje etiky. V dalších kapitolách této části se práce zabývá vztahem etiky a ekonomie, etickým chováním, jakožto konkurenční výhodou pro firmu, neetickými způsoby jednání a etickými kodexy. Cílem této části bakalářské práce je poukázat na důležitost uplatňování etických principů v podnikatelské činnosti, které mohou být z dlouhodobého hlediska pro firmy přínosem. V praktické části se práce zabývá etikou podnikání v České republice. Za účelem zhodnocení situace v oblasti etiky v ČR je zde provedena analýza veřejně dostupných zdrojů. Dále je v rámci této části práce provedeno dotazníkového šetření v nejmenovaném obchodním řetězci, jehož cílem je zjistit obecné povědomí respondentů o situaci v oblasti etiky u nás a potvrzení či vyvrácení předem stanovených hypotéz. Na základě vyhodnocení výsledků provedeného dotazníkového šetření jsou předloženy návrhy opatření, které by měl dotazovaný obchodní řetězec provést za účelem zlepšení situace v oblasti etiky.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the issue of ethics in business andis divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The basic concepts related to ethics are defined in the theoretical part. There is also a definition of historical context which relates to the development of ethics. The work deals with the relationship between ethics and economics,ethical behavior as a competitive advantage, unethical forms of behavior and ethical codes. The aim of this part is to point out to the importance of applying ethical principles in business activities that can be beneficial for companies. In the practical part the work focuses on business ethics in the practical part in the Czech Republic. An analysis of publicly available sources is adde as well to assess the situation in the field of ethics in the Czech Republic. The survey is carried out in an unnamed supermarket chain. The purpose of this survey is to determinate the general awereness of the situation concerning ethics in our country and to confirm or refute hypothesis that were pre-determined. Presented suggestions are based on the evoluation of survey results. The store chain is adviced to take these suggestions into account in order to improve the situation in ethics. The analysis of the available resources was confirmed that the business environment in the Czech Republic is very unethical.
