The Conception of the loss of identity in two absurd dramas: Garden Party by Václav Havel and Bald Soprano by Eugène Ionesco.
Abstract:
This work deals with the analysis of two absurd dramas, specifically The Garden Party by Václav Havel and The Bald Actress by Eugène Ionesco. The first part of the thesis introduces the definition of identity. The analytical part examines elements of the loss of identity in the dramas individually; later it compares the plays and finally, it sums up the differences between them.
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá analýzou dvou absurdních her a to konkrétně Zahradní slavnosti od Václava Havla a Plešaté zpěvačky od Eugèna Ionesca. V první části práce je představena definice identity. Analytická část zkoumá prvky ztráty identity u jednotlivých děl, které poté srovnává a na závěr shrnuje, v čem se liší.
