Úvod: Covid-19 je onemocnění způsobené koronavirem označeným SARS-CoV-2. Poprvé se objevil na konci roku 2019 v Číně a již v březnu následujícího roku byl Světovou zdravotnickou organizací prohlášen za pandemii. Introduction: Covid-19 is a disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. It first emerged in late 2019 in China and was declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization the following March. Cells that are susceptible to SARS-CoV-2 infection possess membranes containing ACE2 enzymes.
