Factors influencing the results of short-circuit current calculations

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá teorií zkratů v elektrizační soustavě a praktickým výpočtem zkratů. Teoretická část je zaměřena na teorii zkratů ve střídavé soustavě, konkrétně rozdělení zkratů s vysvětlením vzdáleného a blízkého zkratu. Dále vysvětluje základní účinky zkratových proudů na prvky elektrizační soustavy. Mezi základní účinky patří pokles napětí, ohrožení stability sítě, indukované napětí, tepelné účinky, dynamické účinky a elektrický oblouk. Další část je zaměřena na postup výpočtu symetrických i nesymetrických zkratů s příspěvky do místa zkratu s respektováním platných technických norem. Praktická část je zpracována ve spolupráci s ČEZ Distribuce, a.s. a je zaměřena na výpočet zkratových proudu z modelu dané části distribuční soustavy, ve které je proveden výpočet jednofázového a třífázového zkratového proudu. Výpočet je proveden v softwaru Matlab. Následně byla provedena citlivostní analýza vlivu nepřesnosti vstupních dat a dílčích kroků výpočtu na konečný výsledek.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the theory of short circuits in the power system and the practical calculation of short circuits. The theoretical part is focused on the theory of short circuits in the AC power system, specifically the classification of short circuits with explanation of distant and near short circuits. It also explains the basic effects of short-circuit currents on the elements of the power system. Fundamental effects include voltage drop, compromise of grid stability, induced voltage, thermal effects, dynamic effects and arcing. The next part is focused on the procedure for calculating symmetric and unsymmetrical short circuits with contributions to the short circuit site with respect to valid technical standards. The practical part is prepared in cooperation with ČEZ Distribuce, a.s. and is focused on the calculation of short-circuit currents from the model of the given part of the distribution system. In which the calculation of single-phase and three-phase short-circuit current is performed. The calculation is performed in Matlab software. Subsequently, a sensitivity analysis of the influence of the inaccuracy of the input data and partial calculation steps on the final result was performed.
