Analysis of selected breeding hens in a poultry farm Cítov

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce seznamuje čtenáře se začátky chovu kura domácího a analýzou vybraných chovů dvou odlišných druhů nosnic a dvou typů ustájení (obohacené klece a voliéry) ve vybraném podniku drůbežárně Cítov. Metodika práce, obsahující teoretickou část, se zabývá detailně skladbou a tvorbou vejce, které je produktem chovu nosnic. Dále v ní jsou popsány podmínky výběru jedinců z odchovaných kuřiček do chovného hejna a sepsána jednotlivá chovná plemena, včetně jejich historického vzniku. V neposlední řadě autor zveřejňuje ve své práci revidovaný překlad SMĚRNICE RADY 1999/74/ES ze dne 19. července 1999, kterou se stanoví minimální požadavky na ochranu nosnic. Vlastní práce, ve které je obsažena praktická část, se zabývá (na základě vlastních zkušeností autora z praxe v drůbežárně a konzultací s provozní vedoucí drůbežárny Cítov Věrou Pavlíkovou) analýzou vybraných chovných turnusů v odlišných systémech ustájení nosnic.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis familiarizes readers with the commencement of domestic fowl breeding and analyses breeding of two different breeds of layer hens and two types of housing (enriched cages and aviaries) at a selected company poultry farm Cítov. The methodology of this thesis including the theoretical part deals with the structure and production of eggs produced by layer hens breeding. Moreover, conditions of the selection of individuals from a group of reared pullets to a breeding flock are described and stud breeds are listed, including their historical origins. Last but not least, the author publishes a revised translation of the Council Directive 1999/74/EC of 19 July 1999 laying down minimum standards for the protection of laying hens in his thesis. The proper thesis, in which the practical part is included, deals (based on author's own experience from poultry farm and consultations with the head of operations of the poultry farm Cítov Věra Pavlíková) with an analysis of selected breeding batches in different housing systems for laying hens.
