Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá dramatem R.U.R. Karla Čapka a románem Dům o tisíci patrech Jana Weisse. Cílem práce je analyzovat a komparovat společné prvky obou děl a uvést díla do kontextu doby. Součástí práce je také stručné pojednání o životě obou autorů a okolností, jež vedly ke vzniku děl.
Abstract:
The bachelor thesis is focused on the drama R.U.R. written by Karel Čapek and the novel House of a Thousand Floors written by Jan Weiss. The goal of this thesis is to analyse and compare common motives in both works and to put them in historical context. The thesis also includes a short summary of both author's lives and the circumstances that led to the creation of their works.
