Analysis of wine offer from german-speaking countries in chosen Prague establishments

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of wine offer from German-speaking countries of selected Prague businesses. The main goals of the bachelor thesis are to analyze the range of wines offered by selected companies, to analyze the price levels offered by the portfolios, to compare and to evaluate them. The thesis is divided into three parts, namely the theoretical, analytical and design part. The theoretical part summarizes the knowledge about the history and present of wine-growing, the position of wines from German-speaking countries on the Czech market and describes the regions of German-speaking countries. The analytical part is about analyzing specific Prague enterprises that have been selected depending on the size of the portfolio of wines from German-speaking countries. The analysis is performed from two angles, namely the analysis of the offered portfolio as a whole and the analysis of the individual business portfolios. Portfolios were analyzed on the basis of their price level and total range of offerings according to various aspects. Basic descriptive statistics were used in the analysis. In the design section, specific proposals are drawn from the results of the analytical section.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá analýzou ponuky vín z germanofónnych zemí vybraných pražských podnikov. Hlavnými cieľmi bakalárskej práce je analýza rozsahu ponuky vín vybraných podnikov, analýza cenovej úrovne ponúkaných portfólií, ich komparácia a následné zhodnotenie. Práca je rozdelená na tri časti, a to na časť teoretickú, analytickú a návrhovú. Teoretická časť zhrňuje poznatky o histórii a súčasnosti vinohradníctva, o postavení vín z germanofónnych zemí na českom trhu a popisuje regióny germanofónnych zemí. Analytická časť už analyzuje konkrétne pražské podniky, ktoré boli vybrané v závislosti na veľkosti rozsahu portfólií vín z germanofónnych zemí. Analýza je vykonaná z dvoch uhlov pohľadu, a to analýza ponúkaného portfólia ako celku a analýza portfólií jednotlivých podnikov. Portfólia boli analyzované na základe svojej cenovej hladiny a celkového rozsahu ponuky podľa rôznych aspektov. V rámci analýzy bola využitá základná popisná štatistika. V návrhovej časti sú uvedené konkrétne návrhy vyvodené z výsledkov analytickej časti.
