Possibilities of natural regenerations of Scots pine in Hradec Králové region

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce bylo porovnat a zhodnotit možnosti přirozené obnovy borovice lesní v oblasti Hradce Králové, Tato oblast je především v posledních letech sužována dlouhotrvajícími suchy s výrazným poklesem hladiny spodních vod. S ohledem na stanovištní podmínky oblasti, jak klimatické(1.,2.lvs) tak půdní (převážně písčité) je borovice stále vhodnou hospodářskou dřevinou. Z tohoto důvodu hledáme nejlepší způsoby pro její obnovu a pěstování s ohledem na současné a predikované podmínky prostředí. Terénní šetření proběhlo celkově na jedenácti plochách v letech 2019 a 2020. Porostní plochy pro obnovu zahrnují porosty s různým stupněm proclonění, na volných plochách pak s různou přípravou půdy či ponecháním klestu apod.Následně bylo podle jednotlivých stanovišť a variant provedeno statistické vyhodnocení.Z výsledků je patrné, že nejvyšší hustota apočet jedinců po dvouletém výzkumu vyskytoval na plochách s vyšším zakměnením a to 5 a7. Naopak nižší počet jedinců se vyskytuje na volné ploše.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis was to compare and evalute the possibilities of natural regeneration of Scots pine in Hradec Králové. In recent years, the investigated area has been suffered from prolonged droughts with a significant drop of groundwater level. From the point of view of the site conditions of the area for Scots pine, both climatic (1., 2. forest vegetation zone) and soil (predominantly sandy soil), these aresuitable for its cultivation. For that reason, we are looking for the best approaches for regenerate and cultivating of pine, taking into account current and predicted environmental conditions. Overall, the field measurement was carried out on 11 plots in 2019 and 2020. Forest stand areas for regeneration included stands with varying degrees of shelter by reduced canopy, with varying soil preparation or with leaved brushwood on open areas, etc. Subsequently, a statistical difference evaluation was carried out on a site-by-site and variant basis. The results show that the highest density and number of individuals after two years of research occurred in areas with higher stocking densities, namely 5 and 7. In contrast, a lower number of individuals occurs in open area.
