Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou cvičných bytů jako jedné z možností podpory ze strany dětského domova mladým lidem připravujícím se na odchod z institucionální péče. Cílem mé práce bylo vytvořit schéma cvičného bytu na základě informací zjištěných od dětí, které tuto službu využily, a dále pak analýza jejich zkušeností s cvičným bytem. Teoretická část práce je rozdělena na čtyři kapitoly. První z nich seznamuje se systémem institucionální péče v České republice. Vymezuji zde i pojem náhradní rodinné péče, dále pak pojmy ústavní a ochranná výchova, preventivně výchovná péče i zařízení pro děti vyžadující okamžitou pomoc. V této kapitole se také věnuji legislativě. Ve druhé kapitole se podrobně zabývám dětským domovem a fungováním této instituce. Tématem třetí kapitoly je osobnost dítěte vyrůstajícího v dětském domově, přičemž bylo nezbytné zaměřit se také na psychickou deprivaci a v souvislosti s ní i na potřeby adolescentů v institucích ústavní i ochranné výchovy. V poslední kapitole teoretické části se věnuji odchodu mladých dospělých z dětských domovů, legislativnímu rámci přípravy na odchod i projektům na podporu této cílové skupiny. Výzkumná část, tedy kapitola pátá, prezentuje výzkumné šetření realizované na základě jednoho rozhovoru a jednadvaceti dotazníků.

Abstract:

The present thesis deals with problems of ?practice flats?, which, according to the management of children?s homes, are believed to be one of the possibilities of the help for young people starting their private lives after leaving the institutional care. The aim of my study was to make up a scheme of a practice flat as based on information I received from the children who had taken advantage of the service, this then followed by the analysis of their own experience. The theoretical part of the thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter offers information on the system of institutional care in the Czech Republic. It is here I define also the notion of compensatory family care, as well as the notions of constitutional and protective education, preventative educational care, and, last but not least, institutions for children demanding immediate assistance. In this chapter I pay attention to legislation, too. In Chapter Two I keep tabs on the children?s home and on the functioning of this institution. The theme of Chapter Three is the personality of a child growing up in the children?s home; in so doing it was necessary, too, to aim at psychic deprivation, and in this connection, at the needs of adolescents in institutions of constitutional and protective education. In the last chapter of the theoretical part I pursue the issue concerning the moment the young adults leave the children?s home, and also I describe the legislative frame of one?s preparation for leaving the home and I mention projects designed to challenge this target group. Chapter Five, namely the practical part of my thesis, presents the research proper, based on one interview and twentyone questionnaires.
