Diabetes mellitus 2. typu je multifaktoriální chronické onemocnění, na jehož vzniku se podílí velké množství faktorů. Tato práce se zabývá mechanismy působení oxidačního stresu a chronického zánětu v patogenezi diabetu mellitu 2. typu. Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a multifactorial chronic disease in which a large number of factors contribute. This work deals with the mechanisms of oxidative stress and chronic inflammation in the pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes mellitus.
