The method of critical thinking and jigsaw groups in human biology lessons at secondary school

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá aplikací metody kritického myšlení a metody expertních skupin ve výuce biologie člověka na základní škole a nižších ročnících víceletých gymnázií. Byl vytvořen soubor učebních textů pro realizaci metody expertních skupin v tematickém celku opěrná soustava člověka a smyslové orgány člověka. Metoda kritického myšlení, metoda I.N.S.E.R.T., byla aplikována na problematiku neslyšících a problematiku onemocnění a poruch pohybového aparátu člověka. Soubory učebních textů byly následně ověřovány ve vyučovacím procesu.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the application of the method of critical thinking and the method of jigsaw groups at human biology lessons at primary school and lower grades of grammar school. A set of teaching texts was created for applying the method of jigsaw groups and the topics were the human skeletal system and the human sense organs. The method of critical thinking, the I.N.S.E.R.T. method, was applied to the issue of the deaf people and the issue of diseases and disorders of the human skeletal system. The teaching texts were verified in the teaching process.
