Glykosyltransferasy hrají důležitou roli při biosyntéze komplexních sacharidů, zatímco lektiny se podílejí na jejich specifickém rozpoznání. Glycosyltransferases and lectins are two protein families participating in the biosynthesis and specific recognition of glyacans.
