Dependence of power and endurance skills at younger age school children.

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem bylo zjistit, zda existuje závislost mezi silovými a vytrvalostními schopnostmi u dětí mladšího školního věku. Pro potřeby našeho výzkumu jsme otestovali žáky prvních tříd Základní školy Jižní předměstí Rokycany. Výzkumu se zúčastnily celkem tři třídy v celkovém počtu padesát devět probandů. Z toho bylo dvacet šest dívek a třicet tři chlapců. Žáci byli ve věku od šesti do sedmi let. Potřebná data jsme získali v tělocvičně rokycanské základní školy, kde probíhalo testování. Výsledky jsme zpracovali v softwaru STATISTICA 8. Podle vypočteného Kendallova koeficientu pořadové korelace a určením hladiny významnosti vyplývá, že existuje závislost mezi silovými a vytrvalostními schopnostmi u dětí mladšího školního věku. Celkově si chlapci v testování síly i vytrvalosti vedli lépe než děvčata. Pro případné další šetření této problematiky bychom mohli zvolit větší množství probandů a získání probandů i z jiných škol.

Abstract:

The main aim of the thesis is to state whether there is a relation between power and endurance abilities in children of younger school age. For the needs of our research we tested pupils in first grades of elementary schools in Jižní předměstí Rokycany. Three classrooms participated in total number of 59 participants, out of which 26 girls and 33 boys. The pupils were 6 or 7 years old. All needed data was gained in a dril-hall of Rokycany elementary school, where the research took place. All data was processed in Statistica 8 software. According to calculated Kendall coefficient of numerical correlation and estimated level of importance, there is an implication of relation between power and endurance abilities at children of younger age. In general, the tested boys did better in tested power and endurance skills than girls. Eventually, for any other investigation into this matter we shall choose a larger number of participants and obtain also participants from other schools.
