The psychometric abilities determination of research tool focused on the kindergarten schools teacher assistant perception

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá stanovením psychometrických vlastností výzkumného nástroje zaměřeného na vnímání asistenta pedagoga v mateřské škole. Cílem práce bylo ověřit validitu a reliabilitu dotazníku, který byl inspirován předešlými studiemi a upraven pro kontext českého školství. Výzkumný nástroj byl navržen s cílem zjistit, jak budoucí pedagogové vnímají práci asistenta pedagoga. K realizaci byl použit kvantitativní přístup, konkrétně dotazníkové šetření, kterého se zúčastnilo 227 respondentů. Analýza dat zahrnovala položkovou analýzu, faktorovou analýzu a testování Kaiser-Mayer-Olkinova testu a Barlettova testu sféricity. Pro zjištění reliability byl použit koeficient Cronbachova alfa. Výsledky ukázaly, že dotazník je spolehlivým validním a reliabilním nástrojem pro měření vnímání role asistenta pedagoga. Doplňkovým cílem práce bylo zjistit úroveň vnímání asistenta pedagoga zejména budoucími učiteli. Ti hodnotili nejvíce položku zaměřenou na etický přístup k dětem. Závěrem práce jsou diskutovány limity studie a doporučení pro další výzkum v této oblasti.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis focuses on establishing the psychometric properties of a research instrument aimed at understanding the perception of the teaching assistant in preschool education. The objective was to verify the validity and reliability of the questionnaire, in-spired by previous studies and adapted for the Czech educational context. The research tool was designed to explore how future educators perceive the role of teaching assistants. A quantitative approach, specifically a survey, was employed, involving 227 participants. The data analysis included item analysis, factor analysis, and testing of the Kaiser-Mayer-Olkin test and Bartlett's test of sphericity. The Cronbach's alpha coefficient was used to determine reliability. The findings demonstrate that the questionnaire is a reliable, valid, and robust tool for measuring perceptions of the teaching assistant's role. An additional goal of the thesis was to ascertain the level of perception regarding teaching assistants, particularly among future teachers. They rated the item focused on the ethical approach to children the highest. The conclusion of the thesis discusses the study's limitations and sug-gests recommendations for further research in this field.
