Abstract:

This bachelor thesis explores how Hergé in his Tintin comics deals with the voyage motif which it considers to be the main motif of Hergé’s work. The text of the thesis is organized into six chapters. Chapter 1 gives a brief overview of Hergé’s life. Chapters 2 to 5 explore the Tintin series as a whole, Hergé’s characteristical drawing style (“clear line”) and typical patterns of his scenarios. Chapter 6 gives an analysis of Le Lotus bleu (The Blue Lotus) comic book and describes how the voyage motif, both in its literary and abstract sense, has been used in this book.

Abstract:

Práce sleduje vývoj Hergého tvorby komiksu Tintin z hlediska zobrazování tématu cesty, který považujeme jako leitmotiv celé série. Práce je rozdělena do šesti kapitol z nichž se první zabývá Hergého životem. Druhá až pátá kapitola je věnována jeho práci na Tintinovi jako celku a na stereotypy při ztvárňování leitmotivu. Popisuje rovněž techniky kresby, které Hergé využívá, tzv. čisté linky, a specifiku jeho scénářů. Poslední kapitola analyzuje Modrý Lotos a zaměřuje se na jednotlivé prvky ztvárnění cesty jak v jejím přesném slova smyslu, tak i v přeneseném významu.
