Vitamin D deficiency in human population.
Abstract:
Práce pojednává o vitamínu D se zaměřením na projevy jeho deficience v lidské populaci. Projevem deficience vitamínu D je u dětí onemocnění křivice a u dospělých onemocnění osteomalacie. U obou chorob se jedná o neschopnost mineralizace nově vytvořeného osteoidu, kost se stává měkkou a vlivem zátěţe dochází k typickým deformitám. Abstract:
The thesis deals with vitamin D and focuses on manifestation of its deficiency in the human population. The manifestation of vitamin D deficiency is rickets in children and osteomalacia in adults. Both diseases are caused by the inability of newly-formed osteoid mineralization, bone becomes soft and deformities typical for this disease happen due to overload.
