Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na tři knihy Stephena Kinga, jmenovitě: Carrie, Osvícení (The Shining) a Mrtvá Zóna (The Dead Zone) a jejich filmové a seriálové adaptace. Práce zkoumá rozdíly, které existují mezi psanou a vizuální mediální formou. Důraz je kladen na výzvy, kterým tvůrci filmových a televizních zpracování čelí při adaptaci písemného díla do vizuální - filmové, seriálové podoby.Abstract:
This master’s diploma thesis focuses on three novels written by Stephen King: Carrie, The Shining and The Dead Zone and their film and TV adaptations. The thesis examines the existing differences between written and visual media. It stresses the challenges the film and TV makers face while attempting to adapt a written work.
