The comparative analysis of an accident rate between working population in Czech republic and imprisoned persons

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou úrazovosti pracujících obyvatel České republiky v komparaci s analýzou úrazovosti zaměstnaných osob ve výkonu trestu odnětí svobody. Respektive zhodnocením rozdílů v oblasti úrazovosti na úrovni specificky sestavených regionů. Úvodní části práce jsou věnovány seznámení s legislativou, organizací a rozdělením Vězeňské služby České republiky, pracovním úrazům, jejich historii, dělení a samotné definici pracovního úrazu. Dále popisují vývoj pracovní úrazovosti v České republice a rozdělení úrazovosti dle sekcí CZ NACE. Následuje praktická část práce, jejímž cílem je zjistit rozdíly v pracovní úrazovosti regionů ČR, četnost pracovních úrazů, délku pracovní neschopnosti vlivem pracovního úrazu, příčiny, zdroje vzniku pracovních úrazů a délku praxe před vznikem úrazu. Shodná analýza je provedena i u osob ve výkonu trestu zaměstnaných ve vnitřních provozech věznic a vazebních věznic. Na závěr jsou veškeré zjištěné hodnoty komparovány, včetně zhodnocení a doporučení pro předcházení vzniku pracovních úrazů.

Abstract:

This thesis analyzes the accident rate of working population in the Czech Republic in comparison with the accident rate of people employed in the prison. Or more precisely evaluation of differences in the accident rate at the level of specific regions assembled.Introductory chapters deal with familiarization with the legislation, organization and distribution of the Prison Service in the Czech Republic. It introduces accidents at work, their history, division methods and the very definition of the work accident itself. Further I describe the development of work-related injuries in the Czech Republic, and distribution of injuries in accordance with CZ NACE sections. Then the practical part follows, which aims to determine the differences in the accident rate in different regions of Czech Republic. I pay attention especially to the frequency of work accidents, length of industrial disability, its causes and sources and length of practice before the occurrence of the accident. Identical analysis is also performed with persons employed in the internal operations of prisons and remand prisons. In conclusion of my thesis, all the values are compared, evaluated and recommendations for the prevention of work accidents are outlined.
