Anotácia:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na problematiku potratů v Severní a Jižní Americe. Popisuje potratové politiky obou částí Ameriky a udává příklad různorodých postojů na konkrétních státech. Cílem práce je popsat jaká rizika mohou vznikat povolením potratů nebo jejich zákazem, jaký vliv mohou mít potratová omezení na životy amerických žen a jaký přístup má k potratové politice americká veřejnost.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of abortion in North and South America. It describes the abortion policies of both parts of America and gives examples of the diverse attitudes in specific states. The aim of the work is to describe what may arise from allowing abortions or banning them, what effect abortion restrictions may have on the lives of American women and what attitude the American public has to abortion policy.
