Psychosomatic symptoms associated with stress in vocational training at secondary school students

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje problematice psychosomatických onemocnění, která jsou často způsobována psychickou zátěží a dlouhodobě působícím stresem. Práce se zaměřuje na žáky středního odborného učiliště oboru Kadeřník. V teoretické části je cílem vymezení pojmů jako stres, zátěž a psychosomatika. Práce dále poskytuje informace o diagnostice, příčinách vzniku a specifických problémech u některých vybraných psychosomatických poruch vyskytujících se u adolescentů a možnostech prevence. Metodami použitými pro zpracování teoretické části budou studium odborných literárních zdrojů, tvorba výpisků, jejich analýza, komparace a syntéza.Cílem praktické části je zmapovat onemocnění či pociťované příznaky nemocí, které se u žáků nejčastěji objevují, jejich frekvenci a možné příčiny vzniku. Dále se praktická část zabývá nejpreferovanějším způsobem relaxace u žáků. Pro dosažení cílů v praktické části bude realizováno průzkumné šetření. Použit bude kvantitativní výzkumný přístup a nástrojem sběru dat bude dotazník. Respondenty budou žáci Střední školy, Brno, Charbulova, učebního oboru Kadeřník. Na základě zjištěných výsledků budou stanoveny závěry a zpracováno doporučení pro pedagogickou praxi.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of psychosomatic illnesses, which are often caused by physical strain and long-time stress. The thesis focuses on students of vocational school whose subject of study is hairdressing. The aim of the theoretical part is to define the concepts of stress, strain and psychosomatics. The thesis then gives more information about diagnostics, the reasons of origin and specific problems at chosen psychosomatic illnesses that arise at teenagers and the possibilities of prevention. The methods used for processing the theoretical parts will be the study of expert literary sources, creation of notes, their analysis, comparison and synthesis. The practical part aims to map the illnesses or the felt symptoms of illnesses which students most often suffer from, their frequency and possible reasons of their outset. The practical part further deals with students’ most preferred way of relaxation. Quantitative method will be used to achieve the aims of the practical part with the respondents answering a questionnaire. The respondents will be students of Secondary school Brno Charbulova, field of study Hairdressing. Conclusions and recommendations for pedagogical practice will be set based on the results.
