Abstract:
Práce se zabývá vlivem redakčních zásahů na rozvoj překladatelových dovedností. Předmětem rozboru jsou překlady románů Petera Maye, The Firemaker a The Fourth Sacrifice. Součástí výzkumu je sestavení typologického modelu chyb a následná kategorizace redakčních zásahů v obou knihách a jejich srovnání.
Abstract:
The thesis focuses on the influence of editorial interventions on the development of translator's skills. The analysis deals with translations of Peter May's novels, The Firemaker and The Fourth Sacrifice. The research includes formulation of a typological model of errors and subsequent classification of editorial interventions in both novels and their comparison.
