Design and Manufacture of a Mandrel Using CNC Machining

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce popisuje moderní výrobní proces třískového obrábění na pětiosém CNC soustružnicko - frézovacím centru. Teoretická část rozebírá od základů pojmy technologie obrábění včetně konkrétních metod soustružení a frézování. Dále popisuje problematiku CNC strojů od její historie až po konstrukci a programování. Praktická část byla zaměřena na návrh a výrobu trnu. Byl zde sestaven detailní technologický postup včetně použitých nástrojů. V závislosti na tomto postupu byl vytvořen program pomocí metody dílenského programování v systému Celos, podle kterého byl následně zhotoven konečný tvar součásti.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis describes a modern production process of machining on a five - axis CNC turning - milling center. The theoretical part analyzes from the ground up the concepts of machining technology, including specific methods of turning and milling. It further describes the issue of CNC machines starting with their history, continuing with design and programming. The practical part was focused on the design and production of the mandrel. A detailed technological procedure was compiled here, including the tools used. Relying on this procedure, a program was created using the workshop programming method in the Celos system, according to which the final shape of the part was subsequently made.
