Architectural and structural design of a family house using timber construction

Abstract:

Tato práce je zaměřena na architektonicko-stavební návrh rodinného domu, ve kterém je hlavní nosnou komponentou panel z lepeného dřeva, známý též jako CLT panel, složený z několika vrstev křížených dřevěných lamel. Cílem této práce je poskytnout komplexní návrh rodinného domu, kde je kladen důraz na správný výběr skladby stěn, co se týče tepelně technických vlastností a statické bezpečnosti konstrukce. V literární části práce je obecně popsáno dřevo jako stavební materiál a potom více dopodrobna popsáno CLT. Metodika popisuje postup práce a použité softwary k jejímu vypracování. Použité metody k výpočtům a posouzením. Zahrnuje důkladný návrh a analýzu skladeb stěn, včetně jejich tepelných a statických vlastností. Ve výsledkové části práce jsou tabulky, výpočty a ověření všech požadavků pro funkčnost stavby. Přesněji se jedná o posouzení prostupů tepla, výpočet stálého zatížení, a nakonec statický posudek vazníku. Výsledkem práce je tudíž detailní architektonicko-stavební řešení rodinného domu s důrazem na statiku a tepelnou techniku.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on architectural and structural design of a family house in which the main load-bearing component is a panel made of glued timber, also known as a CLT panel, composed of several layers of crossed wooden lamellas. The aim of this work is to provide a complex design of a family house, where the focus is placed on the correct choice of wall composition and structural safety of the construction. The literature section of the thesis describes wood as a building material in general and then describes CLT in more detail. The methodology describes the procedure of the work and used software. The methods used for calculations and assessments. It includes thorough design and analysis of wall compositions, including their thermal and static properties. The results section of the work includes tables, calculations, and verification of all requirements for the functionality of the building. Specifically, this includes heat transfer assessment, constant load calculation and finally truss assessment. The result of the work is therefore a detailed architectural and structural design of the house with an emphasis on static and thermal properties.
