Práce s keramickou hmotou jako tvůrčí proces seberealizace a emoční interpretace dítěte

Working with a ceramic material as a creative process of self-fulfillment and emotional interpretations of a child

Abstract:

Začala bych ráda citátem Jaromíra Uždila: "Co je prožito, je i dobře uloženo a schopno budoucího použití" , protože výstižně popisuje směr, kterým se společně s dětmi vydáme na cestě za poznáním. Cílem této bakalářské práce je snaha propojit emoční prožitek dítěte do souvislosti s tvořením z keramické hlíny, které je dítěti předkládané způsobem, jenž mu umožní otevírat cestu k poznávání svých emocí, přiměřených jejich věku a nalézat cestu pro vlastní seberealizaci. K tomuto tématu mě přivedlo hledání, jakým jiným způsobem lze dětem přiblížit tvoření z keramické hlíny, než je tomu ve většině publikací, které často bývají pouze obrazovým návodem pro výtvor. Záměrně nepracuji tak, jak se obecně očekává, když se řekne keramika s dětmi - tedy vytváření hrnečků, dekorací, mističek apod. Chci, aby děti získaly o tomto materiálu mnoho informací, které běžně nezískávají, proto je hlína v této práci dětem přiblížena skrze životní prostředí, fyzikální vlastnosti, je spojená s růstem rostlin, s tvory a organismy, které v ní tráví svůj život, ve vztahu s lidmi a jejich obydlími, s jejich fungováním v kolektivu a s prožíváním smyslové zkušenosti. Závěr výukových jednotek je počátkem tvoření v keramické dílně tak, jak je tradičně známe. Prostřednictvím vyučovacích jednotek, které propojuji s výtvarnou činností se děti učí, jakým způsobem své pocity, prožívání a fantazii projevit vizuálně. Vedu v nich činnosti, při nichž děti mohou uplatnit vyjádření svých emocí prostřednictvím výtvarné seberealizace. Tím i poznání jaké emoce vlastně lidé mohou prožívat, rozvíjet své sebeporozumění a empatie. Při tvorbě s dětmi kladu důraz na samotný proces vzniku díla a prožitek tohoto procesu, ve kterém chci pěstovat vztah dětí k samotnému procesu tvorby. Výtvarné techniky volím se záměrem na nevšední přípravné činnosti, které dětem tento materiál představují v širokých souvislostech, předem posilují pozitivní vztah k práci s ním a ideálně (i když to není nepřekročitelnou podmínkou) by podle mého názoru měly předcházet prvnímu klasickému dětskému poznávání keramické tvorby. Začneme od původu hlíny přes její historické i současné využití ve službách člověka, čímž budu u dětí pozitivně posilovat jejich vztah k přírodě i k umění. Abychom děti neučili pouze čerpat přírodní zdroje, je práce částečně zaměřena na environmentální výchovu, kterou nám přírodní materiál v podobě hlíny sám nabízí. K tomuto tématu mě zároveň inspirovalo mé předchozí studium a zkušenosti z Porcelánové manufaktury Royal Dux Bohemia v Duchcově, kde jsem pracovala na pozici malířky ve vývojovém oddělení a také má osobní záliba v přírodě, neboť ve své vlastní výtvarné tvorbě - malbě na porcelán často zachycuji přírodní motivy.

Abstract:

I would like to start this abstract with a quote from Jaromír Uždil: "What is lived out is saved well and can be used in the future.", because this quote regards the journey of discovery that together with children we are trying to explore. The aim of this Bachelor investigation is to connect the emotional experience of children in correlation with the project of creating a ceramic clay that allows the children to ex-plore their emotions and find their journey for self-actualization, on the basis of their age. What inspired me to pursue this topic was my search for helping children become in touch with their emotions through new creative/art methods. My idea is different from other publications about ceramic clay on the market because I aim to not just give a pro-cedure on how to create different objects from clay such as cups, decorations and bowls but also to teach children about what clay is and where it comes from. I purposely do not work with the children in the way it's generally expected. For example, when talking about making works of pottery with the children, it is often thought to be only creating and decorating mugs, cups and bowls. However, I want the children to become more acquainted with the material, then they normally would in the prior scenario. We deliver this more detailed information through the association to biotic and abiotic features in our environment, such as plants, animals and generally with all living organisms. The final step in the process of creating ceramic pieces is traditional to the creation of cera-mics. In the educational units I interconnect art skills with children's personal thoughts, fee-lings and imagination. The children express their emotions through their artistic self-expression. Thus, knowing what emotions people can actually experience, developing their self-understanding and empathy. When creating with children, I emphasize the very process of creating a work and the experience of this process, in which I want to cultivate the relationship of children to the very process of creation. I choose art techniques with the intention of unusual preparatory activities, which present this material to children in a broad context, strengthen the positive attitude to work with it in advance and ideally (alt-hough this is not an insurmountable condition) should in my opinion precede the first classical children's knowledge of ceramics. We will start with the origin of clay through its historical and current use in human service, which will positively strengthen children's relationship to nature and art. In order not to teach children to just draw on natural re-sources, the work is partly focused on the environmental education that natural material in the form of clay itself offers us. Another source of inspiration for this topic was my previous area of study and experience within the Royal Doc Bohemia in Duchov (small manufacturing business). There I wor-ked as an artist in the department of evolution. I was also inspired by my own art pieces where I focus on motives in nature on porcelain pottery.
