Milling effect on phase changes of chalcogenide materials

Abstract:

V diplomové práci byly studovány vlastnosti chalkogenidových materiálů Se, Se\dindex{90}S\dindex{10} a Sb\dindex{6}Se\dindex{94}, které byly mechanicky aktivovány mletím. Mletí probíhalo různou dobu (t = 0 - 60 h). U odebraných vzorků (v různých časech) byly studovány strukturní a fyzikální vlastnosti. Hlavní pozornost byla zaměřena na přítomnost krystalické a amorfní fáze v závislosti na době mletí. Bylo pozorováno, že vlivem mechanického působení dochází k přeměně krystalické struktury na amorfní v závislosti na době mletí. Bylo dokázáno, že lze připravit vybrané materiály v amorfní fázi mechanickým působením (mletím).

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the properties of chalcogenide materials Se, Se\dindex{90}S\dindex{10} and Sb\dindex{6}Se\dindex{94}, which were mechanically activated by milling. The milling take place for different time (t = 0 - 60 h). The structural and physical properties of the samples taken at different times of milling were determined. The main attention was focused on the presence of crystalline and amorphous phases in connection with the milling time. It was observed that due to the mechanical effect, the crystalline structure is transformed to amorphous depending on the milling time. It has been proved that it is possible to prepare selected materials in an amorphous phase by mechanical activation (milling).
