The most common injuries softball players in Czech Republic

Abstract:

Softball je celosvětově rozšířená hra, která se v České republice dostává stále více do popředí. Má však mnoho aspektů, kterými je třeba se zabývat. Jedním z nich je úrazovost, která jako u všech sportů, má velký význam při vývoji tohoto sportu. Bakalářská práce si klade za cíl analyzovat četnost úrazovosti u hráček softballu v České republice. Dále pak zjištění četnosti konkrétních zranění a hledání souvislostí s pozicí hráče na hřišti a dalších aspektech týkajících se tohoto sportu jako např. počtu tréninků, aktivní kariéře apod. Pro získání potřebných dat byla použita dotazníková metoda, která byla aplikována na hráčky reprezentace a nejvyšších soutěží u nás. Data se dále na základě prostudované literatury, zabývající se problematikou zranění a prevence ve sportu, zpracovávala. Mezi nejčastější zranění patří zlomeniny, poranění vazů a šlach a následovány záněty svalů, šlach a vazů. K nejčastěji zraněným patří prsty ruky, koleno a rameno. Nejčastěji postihují zranění vnitřní polaře. Výsledky poslouží jako přehled četnosti zranění v tomto sportu. Dále budou sloužit při prevenci a potřebné změně při zatížení sportovců.

Abstract:

Softball is a worldwide game, which gets more in the forefront in Czech Republic. However, it still has many aspects which need to be follow up. One of them is the accidentary, which is of great importace in the development of this sport, like in every sport. The aim of the bachelor´s thesis is to analyse occurrence accidentary of softball players in Czech Republic. Than the detection of the frequency of specific injuries and looking for connections with the position players on the field and other aspects of the sport such as. the number of sessions, active life, etc. It was used the questionnaire method for obtain the necessary data. The method was applied to players of Czech representation and players which play the highest softball competition in the Czech. Than the data are processed based on the review of the literature, dealing with injuries and prevention in sport. The most common injuries are fractures, injuries to ligaments and tendons, followed by inflammation of muscles, tendons and ligaments. Fingers, knee and shoulder are injured the most frequently. The most affected player are in field players. The results will be used as an overview of the frequency of injuries in this sport. They will be also used to prevent and necessary change in load athletes.
