Cílem této práce je analyzovat dílo amerického fotografa Gordona Parkse, vytvořené za dobu jeho působení v Life magazine a zasadit ho do kontextu autorova života a tvorby. Gordon Parks se řadí mezi nejvlivnější afroamerické fotografy dvacátého století. The aim of this thesis is to analyze Gordon Parks’ work for Life magazine and contextualize it within his life and career. Gordon Parks is considered one of the leading African American photographers of the 20th century.
