ICTR - Role of state and non-state actors by retention of criminals

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to examine the role of the various state and non-state actors in the international environment within the arrest process of the perpetrators suspected of the genocidal crimes in Rwanda in 1994. The thesis cosists of the analysis of the positions of the actors: ICTR, the state, the international organizations (focusing on the UN and Interpol) and the perpetrators themselves.

Abstract:

Cieľom tejto práce je preskúmať rolu jednotlivých štátnych a neštátnych aktérov medzinárodného prostredia v rámci zadržiavacieho procesu osôb podozrivých zo spáchania genocídnych zločinov v Rwande v roku 1994.Práca pozostáva z analýzy postavenia aktérov: ICTR, štátu, medzinárodných organizácií (s dôrazom na OSN a Interpol) a páchateľov samotných.
