Use of perfect and imperfect tense in Finnish and Estonian
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá slovesnými časy – imperfektem a perfektem ve finštině a estonštině. Cílem této práce je porovnání používání těchto minulých časů a zjistit jejich shodnosti a rozdíly. Práce se skládá z výkladů a způsobů tvoření imperfekta a perfekta, ale také z rozboru příkladových vět z finského románu Očista napsaným Sofi Oksanen a jeho estonského překladu.
Abstract:
This bachelor‘s thesis deals with past tenses – imperfect and perfect tense in Finnish and Estonian. Aim of this thesis is to compare the usage of these past tenses and to find out their similarities and differences. The thesis is consisted of interpretations and formations of imperfect and perfect tense and of analysing examples from finnish novel Purgery written by Sofi Oksanen and its estonian translation …more
