Analysis of the development of migration in the South Moravian Region

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat rizika současné masové migrace, náboženských, sociálních a kulturních rozdílů. Posoudit vliv migrace na zaměstnanost, ekonomiku, bezpečnost a demografii Jihomoravského kraje. Bakalářská práce vyhodnotí možnosti integrace migrantů do naší společnosti. Na počátku práce je provedena definice základních pojmů, na kterou navazuje historický vývoj migrace v České republice a Jihomoravském kraji. Jsou popsány důvody masové migrace, základní faktory ovlivňující migraci a její příčiny. Následně jsou vymezeny právní aspekty pobytu cizinců a kulturní rozdíly. Stěžejní částí práce je analýza přijímacího střediska v Zastávce, které úzce spolupracuje s cizinci a dotazníkové šetření na vybraných institucích spolupracujících s cizinci. K analýze možných rizik v souvislosti s řešenou problematikou byla použita kvantitativní metoda SWOT analýza, která potvrdila, že cizinci nejsou bezpečnostní hrozbou, naopak se úspěšně integrují do společnosti a obsazují důležité pracovní pozice na trhu práce.

Abstract:

The aim of the bechelor thesis is to describe the risks of current mass migration, religious, social and cultural differences. Assess the impact of migration on employment, economy, security and demography of the South Moravian Region. The bachelor´s thesis evaluates the possibilities of integrating migrants into our society. At the beginning of the work the basic terms definition is performed, followed by the historical development of migration in the Czech republic and the South Moravian Region. The reasons for mass migration and its causes are described. Subsesquently, the legal aspects of the stay of foreigners and cultural differences are defined. The main part of the work is the analysis of the Zastávka Reception Centre that works closely with foreigners. To analyze possible risks in connection with Greek issues, a quantitative SWOT analysis method was performed, which confirmed that foreigners are not a security threat, on the contrary, they successfully integrate into society and fill important job positions in the labor market.
