Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá situační analýzou a zhodnocením finanční kondice rejdařské společnosti ČSPL, jejíž hlavní činností je vnitrozemská nákladní lodní přeprava. Ačkoliv autoři řady odborných studií zmiňují potenciál tohoto dopravního módu, postrádají jejich výstupy interdisciplinární přístup a zejména posouzení finančního stavu dopravních společností, které provozují vnitrozemskou lodní přepravu. Cílem práce bylo pomocí finanční a situační analýzy odhalit, zda je daný subjekt dlouhodobě rentabilní a likvidní a zda výsledky finanční analýzy dostatečně vypovídají o reálné kondici podnikatelského subjektu. Cíle bylo dosaženo pomocí metod finanční analýzy a polostrukturovaných rozhovorů se zástupci společnosti a dalšími stakeholdery. Byly zjištěny rozdíly v sektoru z hlediska konkurence a evropského trhu vnitrozemské lodní přepravy. Pomocí výstupů studií byla stanovena potenciální rizika s dopadem na hospodaření společnosti, jež byla následně respondenty vyhodnocena za účelem odhalení potencionálních rizik nejvyšších. Na základě šetření byla pro ČSPL stanovena doporučení k možné nápravě.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the situation analysis and evaluation of the financial condition of the shipping company ČSPL, whose main activity is inland freight shipping. Although the authors of a number of expert studies mention the potential of this mode of transport, their outputs lack an interdisciplinary approach and, in particular, an assessment of the financial condition of transport companies operating inland shipping. The aim of the thesis was to reveal, by means of financial and situational analysis, whether the given entity is profitable and liquid in the long term and whether the results of the financial analysis sufficiently reflect the real condition of the business entity. The objective was achieved by means of financial analysis methods and semi-structured interviews with company representatives and other stakeholders. Sector differences have been identified in terms of competition and the European inland shipping market. Using the outputs of the studies, potential risks with an impact on the company 's economy were identified and subsequently evaluated by the respondents in order to identify the highest potential risks. Based on the survey recommendations for ČSPL were determined for possible corrective action.
