Hlavním tématem této diplomové práce jsou tzv. vycpávková slova neboli slovní vata. V teoretické části se práce kromě představení problematiky vycpávkových slov, včetně definic, klasifikací a zmínek o těchto termínech v dostupné odborné literatuře a jednojazyčných slovnících, věnuje charakteristice hovorového stylu a popisu jazyka sociálních sítí.
