Tato práce zvažuje transkripty jako zdrojový materiál pro překlad populárně-naučných a zábavních televizních filmů z angličtiny do češtiny. Popisuje popis vzniku transkriptu, ale také překážky, které mohou nastat při práci s ním. The focus of this thesis is to introduce the role of a transcript as a source of information for translation from Czech to English.
