This thesis deals with the behavior and stability of carbodiimide (EDC) in aqueous solutions. Theoretical part describes carbodiimides as one of the most used zero-length crosslinkers. Táto bakalárska práca pojednáva o správaní sa 1-ethyl-3-(3-dimethylaminopropyl) karbodiimid hydrochloridu (EDC) a jeho stabilite vo vodnom prostredí. Teoretická časť je venovaná práve karbodiimidom, ktoré sú jedny z najviac používaných “zero-length” konjugačných činidiel, využívaných napríklad pri konjugácii proteínov navzájom.
