Durkheim s Suicide in contemporary sociological literature

Abstract:

Anotace Název práce: „Sebevražda“ É. Durkheima v soudobé sociologické literatuře Toto je práce, jejímž cílem je analýza odborné sociologické literatury z období mezi 70. léty a dneškem zabývající se dílem „Sebevražda“ od sociologa É. Durkheima nebo využívající poznatky z něj plynoucí. V tomto projektu stručně shrnuji podobu této soudobé literatury, z problémů, kterými se zabývá, se budu zabývat nejpodrobněji náboženstvím. Práce je rozdělená do čtyř kapitol. V první se rozebírá samotná „Sebevražda“, ve druhé sociální integrace a regulace, ve třetí náboženství, a ve čtvrté teoretické a metodologické problémy

Abstract:

Abstract Title of work: Durkheim’s Suicide in contemporary sociological literature The goal of this work is an analysis of relevant sociological literature from the period between the seventies and present, which is dealing with the publication „Suicide“ of the sociologist É. Durkheim or is using it’s findings. In this project, I will briefly summarize a shape of this contemporary literature. From all the problems it is dealing with, I will deal in the most detailed way with religion. The work is divided into four chapters. The first one is describing the book „Suicide“ itself, the second social integration and regulation, the third religion and the fourth theoretical and metodological problems.
