Business Cycles and the Dynamics of the Shadow Economy: A DSGE Approach
Abstract:
This thesis aims to analyze the impact of selected macroeconomic shocks on the dynamics of the official and shadow economy of the Czech Republic using a dynamic stochastic model of general equilibrium. Using Bayesian methods, the model was estimated from the first quarter of 2002 to the last quarter of 2019.
